About the Narrator, Jim Harbourne

For the past nine years Jim has worked (and continues to work) professionally in Theatre, where he has been part of 35 theatrical productions as a performer, writer and composer. His shows have been performed in 10 countries, and won numerous awards.

As the producer of his own compositions for theatre, he has extensive experience and skill in sound production. This was his first experience of producing an audiobook, but his knowledge of drama and storytelling meant the novel was in very safe hands.

Jim was easy to deal with and a complete professional at all times. If it wasn’t for the sequel, BEFORE THE END, being in a completely female voice I would be using him for that too. Don’t fret however as he will be back for Book Three.

And it’s already getting reviewed!

Yippee! A new British Post Apocalyptic Series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this first Post Apocalyptic via Audible from GJ Stevens. Great plot that builds in excitement that led a binge listen!
Well narrated by Jim Harbourne – if this is his first narration on Audible, it certainly won’t be his last! Great character differentiation – female characters and various regional accents were very well done.
I hope there will be many more in this series.

Don’t Like Audiobooks?

I’m a big fan of audiobooks as I can fill the dead time whilst I’m driving to work with wonderful stories and make traffic jams a pleasure. However if you’re not a fan of the format then you can always just read In The End in paperback or on Kindle via you favourite device!

The Not so Small Print

The winners of audiobook will be bound by Audible’s Promotional Code Terms and Conditions, which can be found here: https://www.audible.com/legal-terms/gift-terms?moduleId=201654410

If you are lucky enough to win a copy of the audiobook, you will not be entered into the draw for subsequent weeks. I reserve the right to remove duplicate email addresses from the list or those that I feel are multiple address for the same person.

Those who follow my blog either via their WordPress account or via email, will not be entered into the draw unless signed up to the mailing list.
