To celebrate the audiobook of In The End going on general release I have five audible.co.uk free copies to give away.
After three months of production I’m so pleased to announce the audiobook of my debut novel In The End narrated by Jim Harbourne is available to purchase from Audible, Amazon and iTunes. I love how Jim has made the novel come to life and I cannot wait for people to hear it.
How do you get a copy?
I’m also taking this opportunity to launch my new mailing list. The list if for those who have enjoyed my writing and would like to hear news of my work including special offers and appearances. All you have to do to be in with a chance of receiving a free copy of the audiobook of In The End is to sign up to my mailing list here and from 1st March I will select a winner from the from the list each week for five weeks, so the earlier you sign up the more chances you have to receive a copy.
If you’re not eligible for an audible.co.uk account then you can still sign up to the mailing list as I’ll be running more competitions open to your territory in the future and if your name is on the list then you’ll be in the draw! You can also buy the audiobook in any Amazon territory, but I only have promo codes for the UK site.
About the Audiobook
With a running time of 10 hours and 21 minutes, you can check out the details here. Plus you can use the link to sign up to audible.co.uk at the same time and I will be credited as your referrer. In addition it is available to buy through Amazon’s main websites and through iTunes.
About the Narrator, Jim Harbourne
For the past nine years Jim has worked (and continues to work) professionally in Theatre, where he has been part of 35 theatrical productions as a performer, writer and composer. His shows have been performed in 10 countries, and won numerous awards.
As the producer of his own compositions for theatre, he has extensive experience and skill in sound production. This was his first experience of producing an audiobook, but his knowledge of drama and storytelling meant the novel was in very safe hands.
Jim was easy to deal with and a complete professional at all times. If it wasn’t for the sequel, BEFORE THE END, being in a completely female voice I would be using him for that too. Don’t fret however as he will be back for Book Three.
And it’s already getting reviewed!
Yippee! A new British Post Apocalyptic Series.
Thoroughly enjoyed this first Post Apocalyptic via Audible from GJ Stevens. Great plot that builds in excitement that led a binge listen!
Well narrated by Jim Harbourne – if this is his first narration on Audible, it certainly won’t be his last! Great character differentiation – female characters and various regional accents were very well done.
I hope there will be many more in this series.
Don’t Like Audiobooks?
I’m a big fan of audiobooks as I can fill the dead time whilst I’m driving to work with wonderful stories and make traffic jams a pleasure. However if you’re not a fan of the format then you can always just read In The End in paperback or on Kindle via you favourite device!
The Not so Small Print
The winners of audiobook will be bound by Audible’s Promotional Code Terms and Conditions, which can be found here: https://www.audible.com/legal-terms/gift-terms?moduleId=201654410
If you are lucky enough to win a copy of the audiobook, you will not be entered into the draw for subsequent weeks. I reserve the right to remove duplicate email addresses from the list or those that I feel are multiple address for the same person.
Those who follow my blog either via their WordPress account or via email, will not be entered into the draw unless signed up to the mailing list.
Got any questions?
Feel free to contact me via my contact methods.
Congratulations on the Audiobook and for setting up a mailing list. I hope both go well for you. I’ve been wanting to set up my own email mailing list, did you find mailchimp easy to use?

It was so easy and I wish I had done it before! The harder bit I guess will be doing to mailing out but that comes later.

Yes, getting the timing of your newsletters right and having interesting content scares me. I’m waiting to come up with a great idea for a reader magnet, I love your idea of running a prize draw for your audiobook every month.

I’ll be creating a free book soon using blog posts and short stories plus the first ten chapters of the novel. Hopefully it will have something for all of my blog readers, I.e. non-fiction and fiction. Could you not do something like that?
