After taking our eldest to university on Friday, my friends and I set off for what was the wettest weekend of hiking we have ever experienced, but like every other time we’ve been away together, we had an excellent time. We have however decreed though that we’re never hiking and wild camping on Dartmoor again!

WORK IN PROGRESS

I’m rattling through the final read of THEIR RIGHT TO VENGEANCE and I should be finished by the end of the weekend, then it’s over to my wife to proof read before I send it off for paperback proofing and make ready to release. I’ll probably put it up for pre-order for a month and soft release the paperback so I can start selling them at my events. I’ll also put the FATE’S AMBITION ebook down to a 99p/99c to get people reading the first one. I’ll also see if I can grab a few ARC readers from my mailing list and the groups I’m in, but not until the manuscript is completely ready.

I’ve been teasing the artwork for the cover for FATE’S AMBITION (see the header image for this post), adding it as the headline pictures on my Facebook Page and soon I will also add them on my personal Facebook page as well. Next week I’ll send out the cover reveal to my mailing list before revealing it to the world. I think I need to set out some sort of schedule as I keep on thinking of new things I need to do.

The cover for THEIR RIGHT TO VENGEANCE should be ready for initial approval next week as well.

As soon as I’m done with the proofing, it’s back to the edits of the third book for which I still don’t have a title!

EVENTS

It’s Chichester tomorrow on the south coast. I await to see what it’s like, especially considering it’s now out of summer season!

MARKETING & PROMOTION

I’m fed up with Facebook ads now because I just can’t get them off the ground, however I will stick with it and see what combination works. Selling books and making no money is better than just making no money. Time for more research and testing when I get a chance.
