Despite having written this book over ten years ago, the follow up to FATE’S AMBITION is finally released today!
After writing my first novel FATE’S AMBITION, and being naive enough to think that it was done after a year or so, it ended on a cliffhanger so I knew there was more to tell. In the first book I’d played around with timelines, and I decided to explore this in a deeper way in the second. I ended up having to write the two timelines independently, one after the other and then when I had much of it worked out, I split each out into different chapters and sections before piecing it back together in its new form, all whilst figuring out how the two interwoven stories could be told in parrallel.
The novel develops the main characters ability to influence others, all whilst carrying the same crime & action thriller theme, and with Agent Carrie Harris at his side, much of the time.
If you haven’t checked out the first in the series yet, FATE’S AMBITION is still available as an ebook for 99p/99c. If you have already enjoyed the first novel, the second book, THEIR RIGHT TO VENGEANCE, is out now.
Here’s a copy of the blurb and a reminder that the third and final book, SHATTERED DESTINY, will be out in the next 3 months.

Following the emotional high of saving Susie from white slavers, James crashes to rock bottom after witnessing his best friend’s death, and although those who pulled the trigger paid the price, seeking justice for the one that issued the command consumes his every thought.
When the dark forces step up their efforts to take him for their own ends, sending James into hiding to protect his remaining loved ones, he’s forced to rely on Agent Carrie Harris and her team to protect him as they search for the perpetrators, all whilst trying to understand his changing abilities.
But with his new employers seemingly unable to keep him safe, can James put aside the rage of his loss and not lose himself and his extraordinary skills to the other side, even when at every turn he discovers that much of his life was based on lies?
I’ll be back next week to catch up on everything that has gone on in my publishing life.
GJ,
Great job weaving it all together. Stories can be with a twist can be a bridge for both stories. Hope all is good and you are enjoying a creative week.
Thanks, Gary
