MY PUBLISHING JOURNEY – ADRIFT

WORK IN PROGRESS

The second book in the Parrallel Worlds series, with a working title of ADRIFT AMONGST THE STARS, is about two thirds through the first revision. It’s going well!

No sign of the audiobook recordings yet, but there’s still plenty of time until the end of the month deadline. I’m looking forward to hearing how the narrator has handled the book, whilst on the other hand knowing I’m going to have to listen through the whole thing, my least favourite task.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION

In a week with no new reviews from LOST AMONGST THE STARS readers (come on guys, don’t let me down), but quite a few on my other books, I’ve had lacklustre results again from my IN THE END ads. They’re still covering the costs but not much else. For some reason audiobooks are strong and ebook and page reads are very weak. Goodness me, selling books is hard!

In other news, I’ve done a bit of tidying up on my website and I’d love to do a revamp, it’s been six years, but it’s better for me to concentrate on writing books I think.

EVENTS

This week I’m back at the south coast of England in Lymington, hoping for loads of tourists who didn’t know they needed a book until they saw me!

That’s it for this week, and although I’ll be on leave from my day job, I’ll still be posting.
