After being urged by a very close friend to write a novel based on our shared fascination with the apocalypse, I started writing. Each day I would write in the morning before work, editing in my lunch break then sending the result, a short chapter no more than a thousands words, to her by WhatsApp so she could read at her desk too.

Used to writing, rewriting, editing and rewriting again, the process of instant publishing, setting the words you have written that day in stone, fascinates me and somehow seems to drive me on.

Several people have asked to join in the experience, just a bit of fun, so I’ve set up this blog and I’ll aim to post here each day I find time to write.
