It’s only been a couple of weeks since my last post but it seems as though so much has gone on. Hopefully I will remember everything here!
Merchandise Shop
After mulling the idea over for a little while I had a few moments to spare and decided to play around with some ideas for t-shirts. With a couple of evenings work I had two designs prepared and posted in my fan club and following a tide of overwhelming excitement for the designs, I dived in and set up a Redbubble shop. It really was easy. I now have three designs up and offer t-shirts and other clothes and stickers and mugs and many more things each printed to order and shipped directly to the buyer.
I had to grab a couple of t-shirts for myself of course and here I can be seen awkwardly modelling them!
If you want to check out what’s on offer, I’m sure they’ll look better on you, then head over to my Redbubble store. I’ve got loads of ideas so I’ll be releasing more designs over the coming months.

New Interview
A few weeks back I did an interview for an online magazine and you can check out the result here! I don’t think many direct sales came from it but it’s all pebbles in the pond as they say.
Work in progress
From the Dead – The manuscript evaluation came back last week and to say that it was positive would be an understatement. It was glowing with praise in general and had lovely little notes across several parts of the manuscript. Of course there were be something wrong if there wasn’t some constructive feedback too, but that was all stuff that was easy to fix or that my copy editor will be helping to sort out, like pesky commas!
The only other thing she didn’t like was the title. She thought it needed a better heading to do the book justice. That means I’ve now got to think of something else, or find a good reason to keep it.
The edits from the review only took me a couple of hours and within two days I had it turned around and now it’s off with the copy editor. Once that’s complete I need to make a decision as to whether I have this book proof read professionally. I know I should but it’s already cost me a lot at this stage.
Talking of spending lots of money, I’ve now commissioned a cover artist to recover the entire four book Agent Carrie Harris series and I’m extremely excited to see what she comes up with. Work will start around mid-October and by that time I need to have decided if I’m going to keep the existing blurb for Operation Dawn Wolf, decide on a title for the new novel, and write its blurb.
Purple Rain Series – Book 1 – I’m at around 35,000 words into the current revision stage. It’s slow progress what with everything else, but any progress is fine by me.
Their Right to Vengeance – James Fisher – Book 2 – With only snatched moments to do this review / edit, it’s going to be quite some time before it’s ready.
MARKETING & PROMOTION
I’m back up to pace on this after a few days out for hiking and sales are slowing a little, but I kind of thing they always do at this point in the month?! I need to add merch sales into my figure, which will help, but I’m still hopeful I can beat the figure for my best month.
I think that’s about all I can download right now. More progress soon and hopefully a release date for FROM THE DEAD will be forthcoming.
