Last weekend saw my two final events of the year and they ended the season on a high. The weekend didn’t break any records but I was very pleased with the results.
I now have loads of ideas for changed I want to make for next year, including new and improved author business cards, which I have already designed, plus SHATTERED DESTINY will be ready for sale, and I’ll have more dyslexia friendly books, so space will be a real premium on the table.
In the downtime I will need to order more stock and prepare the short story bundles again as I’m almost out.
Here’s a look at my latest design for the business cards which are aimed to drive after event sales.

WORK IN PROGRESS
I received the completed edit for SHATTERED DESTINY and there was no terrible feedback lurking so I’ve already turned around the comments and printed it out so I can plough through my final read. I’m hoping to have it ready for proof reading before the end of the first week in January and so I guess that means it will be out before the end of Jan.
Other than what I might do today on my day off, all other work is now on hold until I get the read through done, then it will be back to the sci-fi time travelling story.
MARKETING & PROMOTION
I’m actually in profit with Amazon advertising! I know, I can’t believe it either. Whatever I’m doing seems to be working. I need to keep doing the same. I’m selling at least a book a day and my page reads are up and so now I need to keep collecting data and then double down so I can improve it. I have to do loads more work on the other titles, but at least I have a nub of something to work with on the zombie books.
That’s about it for this week, just a short one. I expect I’ll catch up next week, but if there’s nothing much to report I might save it for the week after. If I don’t post before, I hope you all have a great Christmas!
Sounds like great news, with one book each day. Looking forward to learning you sales reach ten books each day. Merry Christmas.

It’s great that you’re events are going so well and that you’ve almost got three trilogies out there. You won’t have anymore room on your new business cards for more!
Keep up the hard work and have a wonderful Christmas and new year.
