My Publishing Update: 2 Weeks to Go!

With two weeks to go I thought it would be useful to provide an update of where I’m at in the process. Despite all the planning I did in the early stages I’ve made a few changes now I’m in the home straight, but I’ll update you all on that in a later post a few weeks after this busy period is over.

The Kindle edition has been on pre-order since 11th Nov and as this post goes to print I have twenty pre-orders. If you haven’t got your order in yet then here’s the universal link to Amazon. Did you click the link? I’d love to know your honest feedback if you didn’t!

I created a universal short link to Amazon (mybook.to/InTheEnd ) using the booklinker.net service which is total free, so it doesn’t matter which territory you live in you get through to the Amazon site where you can place your pre-order and eventually buy the book. That was a bit of advice from Mike Wells in my recent conversation. If you haven’t checked out our chat then it’s a must, even if I do say so myself.

I’m pretty sure most, if not all pre-orders have come out of a concerted campaign of canvasing my one hundred or so followers on either my personal or author Facebook accounts, with many more saying they’ll place an order soon or are waiting for the paperback. I now need to figure out how I can convert my content to orders from outside of my small world and into the wider reader universe.

The next stage is to try and get the book reviewed. I’m researching reviewers who are into the genre, if you’re a reviewer and are into Apocalyptic Thriller Fiction then just let me know! It’s another daunting task as I release In The End out for everyone to give me their opinion.

That’s it for me for now. I have the final (hopefully) proof of the paperback to go through and reviewers to find (I should have done this part much earlier).
