I’m writing this on my birthday and 20th wedding anniversary sitting on my homemade bench in the blazing sun on a double bank holiday. It doesn’t get much better than this! Well maybe if I had a pool to jump into, but that will have to wait until the summer.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Scarlet Rain Series – Book 1 – Despite what I promised myself, I haven’t worked on this since I started on the STOPPING POWER series. I think I’ve pretty much made my mind up to get two episodes of the new series written and off to the editor before I pick this up again.

Agent Carrie Harris Undead Series – Episode one is drafted and I’m halfway through revising it to a good standard. I think by the end of next week it should be with the editor and that’s a good benchmark, two weeks per episode.

MARKETING & PROMOTION

In preparation of launching the new serial story I’m trying to get STOPPING POWER out to as many people as I can and so I’m giving away signed copies of short stories to those in my fan club and on my mailing list. The take up has been very good, but not enough to bankrupt me on postage yet!

EVENTS

I’ve recently added more events due to new places becoming available at some of the more popular craft fairs towards the end of the year. November and December are going to be busy months as I’d hoped!

My next event is at RAF Halton on the 11th June, which will be very interesting for sure. Let’s hope the weather stays good.

BENCH UPDATE

It’s done and the cushions fit perfectly. I plan to make an accompanying footstool when I get a moment, but there’s no hurry for that.
