WORK IN PROGRESS

I have the proof of SCATTERED DESTINY at my side. I haven’t had chance to review it yet but I know of at least once change. I should get it reviewed and any updates made this weekend and my author copies ordered. I have 4 copies I need to send out to people who purchased the book in advance.

The ebook is now on pre-order and I have a few orders coming in already along with feedback from an ARC reader. “This was an action packed high energy thriller! Brilliant read!”

What more could I ask!

LOST AMONGST THE STARS is progressing well. The ProWritingAid run through is complete and now I’m on one more read through then it’s over to the alpha readers. I’m not sure if I’m going to immediately carry on with writing (which I want to do) or move onto something else until I get the feedback.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION

Following on from the review of the third party mailing list promotions last week where I classed the project as a success, this week I’ve had a decent haul of sales of the other two books, so now I can be very confident that it worked well. Perhaps I will do the same in three months time when KDP Select allows me.

With regards to other sales for IN THE END, I’m continuing to get a steady stream by advertising on Amazon. I still have much work to do on that project, refining the targeting and maybe choosing one of the ad types over the other, plus I’m a week behind on my spreadsheet analysis.

In other news, I have recently signed a new contact for more dyslexia format versions for another series, but I’ll share those details when Scorpius Books puts out their press release.

It’s been a mad couple of weeks at the day job, so I feel I’ve not been able to put as much into my writing, so hopefully that will relent soon!
